While lightweight decorative wall tapestries certainly have their elegant place in interior design, sometimes you crave something that acts as true architecture! Made during the 1960s-1970s era in Hungary, this incredibly thick, robust runner provides astonishing depth.

Exceptionally soft wool piles densely hand-knotted onto a heavy-duty cotton base, it bursts with "Desert Modern" earth tones: mellow off-white beige, golden mustard, warm caramel, and rich chocolate brown geometry!

Weighing in at a substantial 4.4 kg (nearly 10 lbs), this heavy heirloom shines bright within my Multi-Purpose Vintage Rugs collection because you can use it exactly how you need it:

Very Good Vintage Quality! Absolutely structural sound. No unpleasant odors, rips, or pile-wear. It is common for genuine 50-year-old light colored floor-yarn to look gently aged, so while clean and tidy right now, a simple general rug clean by its new owner will refresh its crisp creamy off-white contrast beautifully!
