While I love tracing my vintage textiles back to famous award-winning designers, sometimes a spectacular vintage piece leaves me completely guessing. I may not know the exact origin of this specific tapestry, but I can tell you this: there is an unknown design genius behind it!

The masterful composition and exceptional quality immediately earned this piece a spot in my Mid Century Modern Tapestries collection. 

Earthy Retro Geometry

This 69-inch horizontal canvas is an absolute masterclass in the 1970s retro-bohemian aesthetic. Woven flawlessly into a heavy, pliable flatweave, the striking geometric arrangement blends mesmerizing circles with sharp, jagged zig-zags. Dropping down into a wonderfully textured bottom fringe, the entire piece is built on a highly saturated, rich autumn color palette of mustard yellow, earthy chocolate brown, and subtle moss green.

Easy Installation

Don't worry about tricky mounting hardware. If you flip this tapestry over, you will see that small metal rings have already been thoughtfully hand-sewn across the top rear hem. It arrives at your door completely ready to hang seamlessly above your mid-century sofa or headboard!

Condition

This vintage flatweave is in very good, authentic condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned, smells incredibly fresh, and has excellent structural integrity.

A note on Vintage Character: There is one very small, faint grayish surface mark on the front pattern earned during its prior decades of life (I have clearly photographed this up close for full transparency, so please review the zoom images!). It is a genuine, beautiful survivor from the 70s.
