This vintage shag rug is from the 1960s or 70s, with a beautiful sunburst design: a creamy oval in the middle, and rays of chocolate brown and warm caramel shining out all around. It's the typical Scandinavian rya style look – earthy, natural and full of texture. The pile is 1–1.5 inch long, the rug is heavy yet soft, most likely made of cotton.
