I actively source textiles for my Multi-Purpose Vintage Rugs collection, searching for pieces that can transform a room from the floor or the wall. This phenomenal 1970s mid century tapestry does exactly that, injecting a massive dose of abstract Pop-Art swagger into any room it lives in.

The vibe & vision

I chose this piece for you because the crazy colors and rich texture: brilliant yellow layered with jet black and a burst of burgundy red. It feels extremely bold and fearless - yet extremely soft for hands and feet alike.

But it’s the dual-purpose quality that I really love. This rug served its former life entirely on the wall as an abstract tapestry. Because it hasn't been walked on, the incredibly dense, high piles are exceptionally plush and uncompressed.
