I have a soft spot for curtains, because of their instant style-changing quality. When I hung this pair at my window for the photos, the whole room turned golden and warm in a second! I knew right away that these curtains have to find a home where they will be loved again.

This is a vintage 1970s curtain pair with a beautiful woven jacquard design: big round medallions, almost like flowers or suzani embroidery, in mustard yellow, golden tones, cream and a touch of soft beige. The pattern is not printed but woven into the fabric, so the curtains are reversible. One side has a light cream background with yellow medallions, the other side is more mustard with cream and beige designs – you can choose your favourite, or change them by mood or season!

The textile is light and airy with a lovely textured weave. With the sun shining through, the medallions glow in warm golden light, and in the evening they give a cozy, relaxed feeling to the room.

They look amazing in a boho or eclectic home with plants and vintage rugs, in a mid century living room, a 70s themed bedroom, or even in a dining room or breakfast nook. Pleat tape is sewn on the top, so you can hang them easily with standard curtain hooks - or use simple clips like I did!

The fabric also works well as a room divider or a bright wall hanging.
